Some sessions just feel like magic — and Haylee’s bridal session at the Weymouth Center for the Arts in Southern Pines was one of those days that had it all. Haylee actually won this session through a giveaway I hosted on Instagram (which made it even more special!), and getting to celebrate her in such a beautiful space was truly a joy.
Haylee brought along her sister, and we had the best time — full of laughs, hype-girl energy, and those sweet behind-the-scenes moments that make sessions like this feel more like a hangout than work. The bond between them was so fun to witness, and it brought an extra level of warmth and realness to the shoot.
Let’s talk about the location though — the Weymouth Center is a total gem. The historic arches on the property were such a stunning backdrop, giving us that mix of timeless charm and romantic architecture that photographers dream about. Every corner of the grounds felt like it was made for bridal portraits. Add in perfect weather, and it was basically a photographer’s dream day.
Haylee’s dress and veil were stunning — classic and elegant with just the right amount of drama. The soft, romantic florals tied everything together, and we made the most of golden hour as it hit the garden areas just right. Truly, everything came together so beautifully.
I’m so glad Haylee entered that giveaway — and even more glad she won. This session reminded me why I love what I do so much. Gorgeous setting, beautiful people, and so many sweet moments captured.
