Spring Lake Family Session

There’s something truly magical about golden hour in the tall Carolina grass — and this session with The Collier Family could not have been more dreamy. We met at Carvers Creek, one of my favorite hidden gems in Spring Lake, and were greeted with perfect light, soft skies, and the sweetest family of three.

From the moment they stepped into the field, it was obvious how much love this family shares. Their little girl — with her adorable bow and those chubby toddler cheeks — completely stole the show. She was curious and cuddly, and gave us the cutest little expressions that had me smiling behind the camera the entire time.

Mom wore a beautiful floral dress that complemented the setting perfectly, and Dad looked so classic in neutral tones — both outfits soft and timeless, which photographed beautifully against the golden grass and tree-lined backdrop.

Sessions like this are my favorite — relaxed, playful, and full of genuine connection. We kept things simple: walking through the grass, letting their daughter explore a little, and pausing for those snuggly in-between moments that really make a photo session feel like you.


Carvers Creek offers such a peaceful setting, and the way the sun poured through the trees as it dipped lower in the sky gave this whole evening a warm glow. It was the perfect spot to capture this season of life for The Colliers — a beautiful little pause in time.
